Puerto Rico. A tropical island paradise in the atlantic ocean, With the benefit of being a territory of the United States. The question: Should it make the Top 10 List? There are many different angles to consider. Here are a few, in no particular order...
1. The Adventure.
Pros: Amazing locations, sunshine, miles upon miles of white sand beaches, ocean breeze, sunshine, a rain forest, sunshine, mountains, awesome weather year round (no more snow shoveling!). The culture, the great weather, did I mention the average annual temperature is 80 degrees?
Cons: I think 6 months a year of hurricane season might be a little more adventure than I had in mind.

2.The Language.
Pros: While the native language is Spanish, nearly everyone speaks english. Matt would love to speak Spanish again. It would be a great opportunity to improve my spanish. The kids could learn spanish.
Cons: Suppose I mess up some simple spanish phrase, like when missionaries tell experiences in their homecoming talks about during the dinner prayer when they prayed to "please bless the toilet."
3. The Accomodations.
Pros: We could buy a condo. Less square footage means less for me to clean.
Cons: The possibility of crazy neighbors on the other side of the wall.
4. The Sacrifice.
Pros: A 5 year commitment and then we'd have our choice of locations to relocate to.
Cons: A 5 year commitment.

5. The DistancePros: We could enjoy a place we probably would never go otherwise. Family would have a good reason to vacation in PR.
Cons: Family would have a good reason to vacation in PR. jk! A few long plane rides back to the midwest.
Anyhoo-- the debate continues. Do the pros outweigh the cons, or vice versa.
